Sri Krishna Vidya Mandira school caters to early education for under-privileged children. It conducts classes for Pre-kg, U-kg, L-kg and 1st Standard. The revenue for the school is from the school fees and donations received from Sponsor-A-Child Program. The fees is collected on a subsidized basis and the deficit is compensated through donations from public and corporate Sponsors.
Sri Lakshmi Venkatesha Pratishtana (Trust) is operating the school at Hulimavu, Bengaluru for the socially and economically under-privileged sections of the society for the last 2 years. The land for this school was donated to Sri Rama Vitthala Trust which is a public charitable trust headed by Sri Vishwa Prasanna Teertha Swamiji, the new head of Udupi Pejawara Adhokshaja Mutt.
The expenditure incurred by the school on a per student basis is about Rs 25000 per year. This is collected 50% from the parents and the remaining is through donations. This last year, due to this pandemic situation many of the parents have lost their jobs and are not able to pay the minimum fees. Moreover, the corporate sponsors, are also not able to cover the gap due to the current business climate, as they are also affected by the pandemic. Hence the school is looking for donations from kind hearted donors, who can extend their support.
Currently, we have 85 students
and it is expected to reach 125 next year.

- Sponsor A Child’s Textbook and Stationery: Rs 5,000 ($70)
